Frequently Asked Questions

WHICH BOAT IS RIGHT FOR OUR GROUP?

We pride ourselves in making sure each group is put on the right boat based on their requirements.  We will make suggestions on which boat and skipper is best suited for your needs.

WHAT IS THE COST FOR ONE PERSON?

Our rates are for the hire of the boat and we don’t do bookings on an individual basis.

DO THE BOATS PROVIDE FOOD AND DRINKS?

Some of our vessels can do the catering for you and some require you to bring your own.  We will let you know what the arrangements are for each vessel at time of enquiry.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM TIME FOR HIRING THE BOAT?

The minimum time is 3 or 4 hours depending on the boat.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN ROD AND BAIT?

Every boat provides fishing equipment, some boats include it in the cost of hire and some will charge extra.  We will advise at the time of enquiry.

WHAT IS LIVE-ABOARD?

A popular option is to stay aboard the boat during your charter, increasing range, minimising wasted steaming time, maximising and extending fishing time and adding another dimension to the experience. Nights are spent anchored in sheltered spots rather than in open sea unless night fishing for Broadbill.

WHAT IS SUPPLIED ON MULTI DAY CHARTERS?

The live-aboard rate is per person per day and includes all meals, snacks, soft drinks, bedding and linen. Some top end charters include this in the charter rate and a few skippers prefer you to bring your own food, drink and sleeping bags.

WHAT TIME WILL MY CHARTER START?

This can be tailored to suit your requirements.
